Corona vaccine / COVID-19
The city of Sortland will provide the corona vaccine for people living in Sortland.
The corona vaccine is free of charge.

All residents are strongly advised to register themselves and their family members for the vaccine. The vaccine reduces the chances of you falling ill, and protects both you, your family and your social environment. 

How to get vaccinated
Everyone above 12 years who want to enrol themselves in the vaccination programme can contact one of Sortlands pharmacies. They offer both appointment booking and drop-in.

► Children from the age 5 to 15, needs written consent of guardians.

Children above 12 years can get vaccinated in the pharmacies. If you want a vaccine for children between the ages of 5-11, you can book an appointment here Koronavaksinering av barn i aldersgruppen 5-11 år - Sortland kommune. You will need a bank ID to book an appointment. If you need help with booking an appointment, please contact us by e-mail:

► NOTE! Use your Bank-ID to register. If you do not have a Bank-ID, please follow this link to authorize one: Bank-ID activation.
If you face difficulties using or activating your Bank-ID, we recommend that you call the corona service desk line for further assistance.

A while after you have registered, you will get an opportunity to book a vaccination appointment date and time.

► NOTE! If you are on medications or in a poor health condition, it is advisable not to take the corona vaccine. Questions regarding your health condition, medication or certain medical effects to your immune system should be addressed directly to your doctor.
